Ansible Meetups¶
Ansible Meetups are community events for learning, sharing practical experience, and meeting people interested in Ansible. The Ansible Community Forum is the home for event information and discussion. Pretix handles registration.
Choose the guide for what you want to do:
- Attending? Find an event and RSVP, then join the discussion and follow up.
- Organising? Learn what the role involves, then follow the guides to set up, promote, run event day, and follow up.
- Ansible Community Team? Start with team responsibilities, provisioning, adding a city, and creating an event.
Read the Meetup strategy for the purpose and shared expectations. The glossary explains common terms. Technical details live in the tooling specification and Pretix–Discourse authentication specification.
How the services fit together: The Forum event topic is the canonical event information page. It links to Pretix for RSVP; Pretix links back to the Forum topic. Event details do not synchronize between them. The production registration service is rsvp.ansible.com.
The temporary Meetup Pro migration guides are kept separate from current attendee and organiser instructions.
